Christ revealed in common life

In this early phase of the church plant we need people who can say, “Count on me!”  The Launch Team will establish the DNA of the church, so we need people we can count on to help shape The Table. 

We’re not looking for year-long commitments yet - we’re just getting to know one another!  Instead, we’re asking people to commit to 7-11 - seven Launch Team meetings, one public service, and one Christmas party.  (See schedule at left.)  This should be enough time to test us out and discern whether you should formally commit to launching the The Table in Sept 2010.  This is a big decision which no one should rush into without prayer.

More specifically, we’re looking for people who will seek, come, bring, and give:

We need people who want to grow in their knowledge and love of God, whether they’re new to Christianity, have been following Jesus for half a century, or happen to be leading the church plant.

Many of us have been to groups in which people inconsistently show up.  This makes it hard to establish trust and maintain momentum.  We need people who will faithfully come to the Launch Team meetings, the preview service, and a Christmas party. 

We need people open to bringing their friends and colleagues to Table gatherings.  Of course, this presupposes that we make good on our commitment to provide a safe setting and accessible teaching for those you bring.

We need people who are going to invest in what God is doing through The Table.  Our life situations are all different, so our giving will look different, but there are three basic ways to give: time, talent, and treasure.
